Mind-body syndrome (MBS) is a psychogenic condition in which the brain produces symptoms in the absence of a physical problem.

MBS can cause a wide range of symptoms, including chronic pain, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), migraines, and fibromyalgia. Some of these symptoms are highly prevalent, and all of them have the potential to wreak havoc on people's lives.
